Chandler Heights Citrus Irrigation District

 

Chandler Heights Citrus Irrigation District is a 1460 acre area of Maricopa County, southeast of Phoenix, Arizona, USA, and the quasi-municipal organization responsible for supplying irrigation and drinking water to the residents of the district.

The district was founded in the late 1920's as an agricultural area devoted to citrus. There are still commercial groves in operation, but the majority of the district has turned into housing. Many residents keep horses, and some have other animals as well.
